Junior Rodeo

Hold the date

True Western Roundup will host our second annual Junior Rodeo at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds located at 30100 US-160, Cortez, CO 81321. The event will be held on Saturday, May 15th at 10:30am, gates open at 9:00am. Contestants between 5-18 years of age of age are eligible to compete. EVENTS

Events will include mutton bustin’, junior calf roping, junior team roping, junior barrels, junior breakaway, junior poles, junior flag race, junior steer riding, junior bull riding and a few more fun surprises!
